Description

My first real project is one of the products from Formulatrix that functions as sample concentration and diafiltration. The product is classified as a small product where the user can run this product with one small screen on the product.

Roles

The role of most UI/UX Designers here is almost the same. We will collect several problem points from customers and identify what difficulties they encounter when using our software, from here we can find things that should be developed with our software. Having a UI/UX Designer here will be more helpful than working on software for this instrument because we can find out what scientists need for their experiments.

This includes gathering requirements if there is feedback from users, then we will create flows, use cases and sketches to be discussed with the internal team from the software (Front end, Back end) and the hardware team, after this we have fulfilled and resolved to meet our problem points will continue to create mockups and prototypes which will be presented to the Project Manager and handed over to the team. At certain moments, we will carry out quick tests with internal scientists to validate the feature changes that have been made

Challenges

As a fresh graduate at that time, I needed to adapt to the new experience of working on a team.
Design on different platforms because it uses small tabs.
Understand new products in terms of concept and how they work.
Not only working with the Software team but with other teams such as the Hardware, Electronic, and firmware teams.
Differences in time and place with the Project Manager.
